Gârda de Sus, the church "Nativity of St. John the Baptist
"
The church was built in 1792 and painted in 1804. The church is of a rectangular plan, with an unhooked apse, polygonal, with narthex and nave ceiling and a semi-cylindrically vaulted altar, it was elongated in 1863 and then plastered on the outside. The painting was signed by Simon Silaghi from Abrud and Gabriel Silaghi. Icons, richly decorated in stucco, are dated from 1798 and 1804 still owed by Simion Silaghi.

The Scărişoara glacier cave. The largest repository of fossil ice in the country (75.000 m3). The pothole and the cave "Scărişoara glacier" are located on the watershed between the basin of Văii Ocoale and the basin of Gârda Seacă, on the karst plateau of Scărişoara.
VÂRCIOROG WATERFALL. On the Vârciorog Valley, on the north-eastern side of the Biharia massif - the landscape is dominated by a 15 m high waterfall.

THE GURA APEI CAVE. Situated in the south-eastern part of the Bihor Mountains, at the base of the hillside of Gârdişoara (Commune of Arieşeni, the village of Casa de Piatră) - a karst spring which drains the waters of the Plateau of Padiş.
